After spending her first few years out of college doing community building & development for a nonprofit in Des Moines, Emily fell in love with the small business community. It was obvious how instrumental local businesses were to the vibrancy of neighborhoods and the broader community and she wanted to create a spot for people to connect more deeply with the shops, owners, and experiences offered.
